Upgrade trades probability against value directly. You pick the skins you are putting in and the chance you want to play at, and the target value moves to match - a low chance aims at something far above what you staked, a high chance at a smaller step up. Because you set the chance explicitly, the odds are never implied or buried: the number you choose is the number the roll uses, and the whole round resolves in a single instant rather than over a sequence of decisions.
